I happened upon this flat iron @ Sally's when they were having a special on this flat iron. (Buy the Palladium flat iron and get a Jilbere blow dryer free. How awesome was that?)
At any rate, as an African American female with natural hair, it is hard to find a straightening tool that actually gets your hair straight and keeeps it straight. Many times in the past, I have flat ironed my hair only to have it 'poof' up after the slightest bit of humidity. I only have to use it maybe twice per week, at the most, even during the days it rains. This flat iron DELIVERS!

I have had many flatirons, but this one is by far the best. Mainly because of the comb attachment. I had one from Conair that lasted me for 11 years, but it was time for a new one. The comb helps untangle the hair as you straighten it and keeps your other hand free. I can finally get my hair straight like they do in the salon and I have very thick hair.

It heats up within seconds of pressing the power button and does a great job at keeping hair absolutely straight from root to tip. The detachable comb is an excellent feature, as are the swivel cord and the locking mechanism. Also, the variable temperature control makes this product flexible for a variety of hair types. The greatest attribute? The price. The Palladium works just as well if not better than those flat irons costing $100 or more. You could call it a steal. I honestly cannot think of anything negative to say about it. If you're tired of spending money on flat irons that let you down, look no further than the Jilbere Palladium!
