I ended up making my decision because I travel a lot and liked the dual voltage. So far I am pleased with the product and I ended up with salon caliber curls. It was easy to use and pretty quick to style my thick hair. This review is from: Jose Eber 25 Mm Professional Signature Series Black 110v-220v (Health and Beauty) I have VERY straight long asian hair that doesn't hold curls. I read the reviews and decided to give this curling iron a try. It's very easy to use, you can get looser or tighter curls depending on how much hair you grab, and it actually makes long lasting curls! I, however, wasn't able to get those kim kardashian big bouncy curls that I wanted, the barrel is a little small for that. I was able to do that with my cheap conair iron, the only thing is that I had to use tons of hairspray to hold the curls in place. So now I will try a cone shaped 1 1/2 inch curling wand. My sister bought the same iron at a mall kiosk and paid 200+. I tried hers and loved the size and how hot it gets. I have a few other similar irons where the barrel decreases in size and liked this one way better. I don't use the glove because it feels awkward to me but it will burn you as it gets so hot!
