It is light in weight, handles easily, doesn't burn your finger tips, has ceramic plates, glides down the hair, heats up fast, adjustable temp, cools quickly so you are not stuck waiting while on the go, makes your hair shiny and perfectly straight with the ends just slightly turned under. You can make curls if you want to but I like my long hair straight. I use it 3 times per week and I need to order the product that keeps your hair from drying out. My stylist said that was a good idea. She was very impressed with the Solano as it is not as well known as the other brands. She paid almost $100 more for the one she uses in her salon and it has no advantage over the Solano.But so far it is perfect and I am careful in boxing it to take it to the gym or on a trip.
