It also comes with a free nice pouch and glove. I have tried a few drug-store bought brands, but they always end up burning my hair. I have frizzy Asian hair especially after washing my hair, so i'm always on the lookout for a great flat iron, and at the same time i'm not willing to pay more than $100. I've looked at other more expensive irons on Amazon, but end up choosing this one because of its value and reviews. Although this particular iron does not have reviews for some reason, the other one with slightly different product (with bio silk sample) I believe sold by the same seller has many great reviews. I wanted to try it on my own to test it out, and the end result is... I got silky smooth hair! Dual Voltage 110/220 Ideal for Travel (Misc.) I bought this item from Amazon, and when I plugged it in and turned the switch(given on the hair iron) to 'On' it didnt heat up at all.
I tried some ways, waited for long time but it didnt heat up so I returned it and ordered a new one. This one too didnt start to heat up at first until I pressed hard on the red 'Reset' button located on the plug. I then saw that the red light on the iron started to glow and it turned green when the desired heat level reached.
I used it with CHI straight gaurd and silk infusion and my hair are very soft, manageable and frizz free. Would recommend it to anyone. I am an asian girl and have normal wavy hair-neither thick nor thin.
